Well run business with friendly staff
No problems with these guys, everything was straight forward, only had the car for a day, but i expect no issues as all preparation was spot on. Purchased a 2010 plate and it looked brand new. Friendly, relaxed and helpful, can't ask for more really.

Car Purchase Experience
4 yr old , 15k miles car initial enquiry with below asking price negotiated on phone prior to viewing and test drive.
Car as described upon viewing and sale agreed few days later. No issues with storing the car for a few weeks to allow me time to collect from Scotland.
All documents and servicing history present and correct on hand over. A pleasure to deal with and would happily recommend using them again

Not great
Well after leaving a positive review last week of the company I would now have nothing positive to say apart from Andy and Jason today. My father bought a car last week, I then looked at a car in the forecourt and was told we can do a double deal, however due to credit I thought I would never get the car. 3 days later I was passed and it was mine, no communication in between. Went to collect the car today with no deal what so ever, £4 fuel in the tank knowing where I lived and nothing knocked off paid full price. No refreshments offered until asked. Over £12,000 spent in 1 week and not enough care of fuel to get home ever after no discount, not a lot to ask!

OMC Hello Jade, we are extremely disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with the lack of fuel in your car. We take customer satisfaction extremely seriously and will look in to your complaint.

I have to say we have worked very hard to get your finance placed and get the car ready for collection as promised and the car looked fantastic when it was collected. We had put 5 litres of fuel in before you collected the car as the fuel level was low but unfortunately that wasn't enough to get you home.

Easy..... like a Sunday morning
We found Oakwood on Autotrader when we were looking for a 'newish' Audi A4. They had plenty of stock all at various prices / colours and after visiting a couple of garages a bit more local to us earlier in the day and without any success we decided to drive upto Bury for a last look of the day. The car we had looked at online was in the showroom, exactly as described and looked as new. After speaking with Danny about the car and what trade in deal we could do we decided to purchase the car. This was gone 4pm on Saturday so we paid the deposit to secure the car and although we were eager to have the car as soon as possible, realisticaly it would only be ready the following week. We were kept upto date with progress on Monday and Tuesday and it was ready to collect on Wednesday afternoon. It was a smooth transaction and will recommend to anyone who is looking at purchasing a used car at a competative price.

Great service
The staff have been incredibly helpful in getting my new car. Nothing was too much to ask, any worries were greeted with quick responses and reassurances. Great price too, travelling over 100 miles as it was the best price found. Car was immaculate and in great condition.

Quick, easy and hassle free
I bought my new Audi A3 through Jason. He didn’t put any pressure on me to upgrade in any way, he simply helped me choose the right package for me. Very friendly customer service that puts you at ease from the moment you walk in. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality but affordable car. You could not tell mine wasn’t brand new! Amazing sales team, I found Olivia to be so helpful and down to earth about everything I needed to know for my car purchase! She also answered any questions I had about my finance options, and tailored the warranty to me, as I live far away. Only downside was when I was passed over to the finance lady, she was very blunt and pushy and seemed in a massive rush. Of course we were too, as we were eager to get on the road but I didn't like this.

Even though I didn't buy a car here. I was happy to be serviced by Olivia at Oakwood Motor Company. She was very patient, professional and amiable person. Helped me get a good impression on a Volkswagen Passat that I viewed last week. She was genuinely interested in making me feel comfortable with the car and giving me insight on the options and benefits of the car. Visted the new Chorley site and greated by Dean and Brad after seeing their stock online. No pressure from either with a nice friendly approach. Had contact a couple of days later but again no pressure. Continued to deal with Brad and put a deposit down . No pressure on when to collect. Collection day was quick and decided to take out the additional warranty. Happy with the car so far although I have had to buy 2 new key batteries and a Sat Nav SD card. The engine compartment needed a really good clean. Sometimes it's the little things that could make everything perfect. Generally an overall good experience and I would use them again moving forward.

Picked up my new BMW from Oakwood Motor Company at Bury last week. I don't usually do reviews but wanted to say thank you. They had such a large choice of vehicles and the customer service was excellent. I travelled from Yorkshire to pick the car up and it was definitely worth it! I am very happy with my new car and the price I paid. I didn't get any of the hard sell that I encountered at other garages. I recommend this car dealership.

Very friendly and helpful dealership however, I did have some issues with the car after purchasing it.. I'll give a detailed breakdown below of my experience. Sales - First visit & Phone call: Yaser was my salesman and explained everything very simply and to the point. He gave me reassurance that the car was in excellent condition, even after I had asked him numerous questions about the vehicle condition. However, I had since had to come back to have the air filter changed, wind wiper replaced, heated seats in the rear to be fixed, and the passenger electric window to be fixed therefore, I did feel a little bit mislead from sales. One other issue I had was that as per usual with sales people, he was quite pushy and wanted me to get the sale done by the end of the month (only 2 days later) even after I had already paid the deposit showing my intent on purchasing the car. This led me to not being able to fully check everything I wanted, and so I had to come back to get above repairs. In total I had to make 3 extra journeys to the dealership driving 15 miles there and back home each time. I wasn't going to mention this issue, but after after having to revisit multiple times, I think it's worth noting. Purchase Date: The actual sale process was dealt with by charlotte and she was wonderful. I couldn't even tell she was a new staff member as she seemed like she had been there for years. Charlotte was very clear and helpful with the handover process. She had more of a human touch, not pushy with anything, and she made the whole process comfortable and easy. It was a pleasure. EDIT: I was going to reduce my rating to a 3/4 due to issues mentioned above however.. I'm keeping it at 5 Stars and the main reason is due to Megan at reception who saved this review. When I called and spoke to Megan, she listened to my issues, noted it well, and reassured me everything would be resolved. When i spoke to her in person, she welcomed me with a smile, was very friendly and had excellent customer service. She gave me confidence and reassurance again that they would get my issue sorted and she told me to not hesitate in calling them again if any other issues arise. I had to make what I hope is my final trip, because it turns out my rear heated seats still were not working and it was due to the wire not being plugged in. This meant the first technician didn't really check the heated seats issue!! But once again, Megan apologised and told me to bring the car in the very next day rather than waiting another 2 weeks to be booked in like the first time. This time she had a different technician look at the issue and he resolved it within 30 mins meaning, I didn't have to come leave the car with them and come back later. Overall, some issues, but they were all resolved.

I identified a car at Oakwood which met all my needs and arranged over the phone to pay a deposit to secure it. The team kept it for me for a few weeks until I could get down from Scotland. Upon collection there was an issue with one of the keys, which Jack offered to sort by re-imbursing me for work to fix it once I got home. He was true to his word and so I can happily recommend them for the after care.

We went to view a car today at bury and was seen by Jack. We've had some bad experiences in the past with car garages but Jack was lovely wasn't pushy told us everything we need to know about the finance and the value of our trade in. We were unsure today but he was happy to let us leave and sleep on it which at other garages I the last we would be pushed towards a deposit. Brilliant service would recommend.
