Unlike some other car dealers, you get a good comfortable experience as soon as you come to Oakwood. We were never put under pressure to purchase and when we eventually decided to purchase our new motor the deal was straightforward and effortless. Totally recommend this place.

Well run business with friendly staff
No problems with these guys, everything was straight forward, only had the car for a day, but i expect no issues as all preparation was spot on. Purchased a 2010 plate and it looked brand new. Friendly, relaxed and helpful, can't ask for more really.

Car Purchase Experience
4 yr old , 15k miles car initial enquiry with below asking price negotiated on phone prior to viewing and test drive.
Car as described upon viewing and sale agreed few days later. No issues with storing the car for a few weeks to allow me time to collect from Scotland.
All documents and servicing history present and correct on hand over. A pleasure to deal with and would happily recommend using them again

Not great
Well after leaving a positive review last week of the company I would now have nothing positive to say apart from Andy and Jason today. My father bought a car last week, I then looked at a car in the forecourt and was told we can do a double deal, however due to credit I thought I would never get the car. 3 days later I was passed and it was mine, no communication in between. Went to collect the car today with no deal what so ever, £4 fuel in the tank knowing where I lived and nothing knocked off paid full price. No refreshments offered until asked. Over £12,000 spent in 1 week and not enough care of fuel to get home ever after no discount, not a lot to ask!

OMC Hello Jade, we are extremely disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with the lack of fuel in your car. We take customer satisfaction extremely seriously and will look in to your complaint.

I have to say we have worked very hard to get your finance placed and get the car ready for collection as promised and the car looked fantastic when it was collected. We had put 5 litres of fuel in before you collected the car as the fuel level was low but unfortunately that wasn't enough to get you home.

Easy..... like a Sunday morning
We found Oakwood on Autotrader when we were looking for a 'newish' Audi A4. They had plenty of stock all at various prices / colours and after visiting a couple of garages a bit more local to us earlier in the day and without any success we decided to drive upto Bury for a last look of the day. The car we had looked at online was in the showroom, exactly as described and looked as new. After speaking with Danny about the car and what trade in deal we could do we decided to purchase the car. This was gone 4pm on Saturday so we paid the deposit to secure the car and although we were eager to have the car as soon as possible, realisticaly it would only be ready the following week. We were kept upto date with progress on Monday and Tuesday and it was ready to collect on Wednesday afternoon. It was a smooth transaction and will recommend to anyone who is looking at purchasing a used car at a competative price.

Great service

I bought my new Audi A3 through Jason. He didn’t put any pressure on me to upgrade in any way, he simply helped me choose the right package for me. Very friendly customer service that puts you at ease from the moment you walk in. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality but affordable car. You could not tell mine wasn’t brand new! I found this company through Autotrader and had been extremely satisfied with the experience of exchanging my car. I felt confident at the start as they had a great rating online with lots of positive reviews. Yasar dealt with the exchange and was professional throughout. He did everything he said he was going to do and whenever I had a query it was promptly dealt with. What made this experience all the more impressive was that I was in Scotland and needed the car to be brought to me. This was not going to be a problem. In the end I went and collected it myself which was so easy. Everyone I met was friendly and efficient and the car I have received is as described. I wouldn't have hesitated to recommend them until now. Unfortunately since exchanging my car my experience has changed. I was told by Yasar on 31st December (when I exchanged the car) that my exchange vehicle finance would be settled on the 2nd of January. This did not happen. I had to chase them on the 12th of January and was told it had “slipped the net”. He assured me that it had been paid by the 14th January but I have since spoken to the finance company who have not received the payment. Yasar has not been able to provide me with proof of payment as he says it's not his responsibility but that of the directors. I've yet to have the director who has made the mistake contact me directly to apologise or explain. As of now I have two finance agreements to pay this month and only one car. In the meantime they have listed my old car for sale already on their website. Not a happy customer and won't be recommending them at all to anyone who has a part exchange. Seems they will put on a good show up until the point you have paid them a huge deposit and taken the car. UPDATE: The finance has been settled, and whilst I'm not satisfied with the delay and the fact that I had to chase them up, I am willing to move on and am otherwise delighted with the new car I've received. I would suggest to anyone making a part exchange with finance to be settled to be vigilant and double check they do it on time.

I got my first car in the uk last year from Oakwood. And I can say from the sales department to the service department, they were really professional and ready to help. I felt safe and comfortable closing a deal with them. Recently, I had wanted to swap my car, and move from HP to PCP. Olivia was so nice and willing to assist throughout the whole process. She was kind enough to answer all of my questions and explain things out for me. I would recommend them Oakwood anytime.

Chris was very nice and helpful. They sorted all the issues I pointed out before buying the car. Edit: knocked a star off because the car had a clutch issue which I mentioned to them at the time but my worries were dismissed. Turns out it needs a new clutch but its now past the warranty period. I realise it's partially my fault for not pressing them on it in the time frame hence only 1 star off. Also the car wasn't cleaned very well on the inside

Brilliant from start to finish
I had the pleasure of buying from Oakwood, and I’ve got to say their customer service was brilliant from the minute I walked in the dealership, to the minute I drove away - literally 3 hours (I did leave on my own accord for a few hours) Olivia was fantastic and explained everything in layman’s terms. Olivia and the rest of the team way way way way above other dealerships in customer service. They actually care! Would highly recommend Olivia and the dealership if you’re looking for a new car. 5 stars.

The whole process was easy, Andy was great and did his best to get me best deal. I travelled up to Manchester from Brighton. Andy made sure I had the right directions and made it easy and clear, they reimbursed me for the main ticket that was over £70. Was worth the travel as the car was better then the advert.
